And Agent Lavia could cause a bit of mayhem in his own area next time we're down Hampshire way!Coz we want to incentive Southampton to play Lavia more knowing that there decent profit to be made in here.

...because lots of them actually believe we are going to end up with a team made of mostly homegrown talent ;)The academy is there to generate sales for the first team , finding a gem is a bonus , why do people still not get that

Truth is, most are never going to play the majority of their careers in the top Leagues, some will play Championship, and majority below that.
And? They did take the lead based on one piece of brilliance from Nathan Redmond, after that they did less than fuck all? They were an utter disgrace, did you watch the match?didnt they take the lead against the scousers?

What point? They sneaked a wonder goal and for the rest of the match they were FUCKING ABYSMAL and didn’t try. The main point is clear and standsI did. Point still stands
No idea. The academy is there to generate sales for the first team , finding a gem is a bonus , why do people still not get that
£40mil buy back according to Fab Romano
Tbf, it's a bit high but it's still fuck all if he hits his MASSIVE potential
Good luck to him
To be fair, that Barcelona side was a freak side that had some of the greatest players in it of it's era. I can't remember many other teams doing something similar, maybe United in 1999ish, but on the whole most teams don't have many youth players from their ranks playing in CL finals. Feel free to correct me though. But seriously, he didn't pick them because they were youth players, he picked them because they were insanely good. It's not been repeated since, so if it was that easy then every team in Europe would be playing with it's own youth players.I mean, we did appoint a manager who fielded seven academy graduates in a Champions League Final (with another four on the bench), so I don't think those hoping to see a few more of our lads make the step up were being unduly naïve

In fairness that stat is misleading considering 5 of the 7 were long established members of the side before Pep took over.
I was referring to Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol & Valdes. Forgot about Pique to be fair.
He also signed for Barca at 17. not really a product of la MasiaPuyol didn't start that game
Impressive debut, I think (and hope) we'll end up spending that £40m if keeps improving his performances for a season or two.
Slightly harsh, he was EDS player of the year at 17 in a team with the likes of Palmer, Delap and McateeThe lad looks very impressive on those clips. Stood out more than he did in our EDS team in truth.
