Its inevitable. Don't know why people think otherwise. Rooney is englands saviour in the eyes of the Fa. different rules for top England players. Look at when gerrard had that scuffle, did it affect his England place? No!

Just watching Sky News with the horrible Eamonn Holmes discussing 'Coke can Rooney' (the Sun's headlines today) with other guests on how mums will stop buying cans of coke at the supermarket because its associated with Rooney. They asked the women in the studio would they stop buying coke and they said 'on no - but some mums will' - journalism at its most desperate FFS!

Anyway they said the FA will announce their decision at 10am this morning.

Hard to imagine it NOT being reduced since they have brought up MULTIPLE reasons why he should not be banned. HOWEVER, as soon as he admitted to the charge, the FA should have NOT ALLOWED ANY APPEAL.

Nothing in particular, just my humble opinion. It always happens, suffice to say it would surprise me more if they uphold the original 2 gamer and that speaks volumes about my opinion of the toothless FA.
