Lets offer them £20m and not a penny more, and be serious about it. It'd piss them right off, and to be honest, he isn't worth much more than that. People have been suggesting £80m, which is laughable, and if we bought him for £30m, I'd be disappointed.

I dont want him anywhere near our squad it could be a modern day Rodney Marsh moment.....why pay 50 mill + for a player who is very similar to Carlos who in my eyes and prob many others is a far better allround player (as Carlos stats prove ) and will be available on a bosman in the summer....
I really think were just being used as a bargaining tool for a new contract or a move but it wont be to us , Mancini is building his own squad with a winning mentality you only have to look at Robinho as an example and altho Robinhos signing was a statement from the owners we dont need to make anymore staements ...have a look at the stats and tell me you really would want rooney ? a player whos not all that imho......

He is a twat but when on form he is unstopable, in form worth 80mill out of form 50 mill or 30mill+ade

They will want more than they paid for him, plus there is the 25% Everton sell on clause on profits from the sale.

They will want £50m, i can't see them getting any more than £35m for damaged goods.

Not at all sure about this one, on one hand he is a player due for a new contract and his agent starts feeding people stories on the other hand he now appears to have fucked his relationship with his manager and at least one team mate.

As a player do we really need him? Would we want him? Does he improve us? I would have to say yes, yes and yes, especially if he can recapture that semi-final form against us.

God knows what will come of it all, my instincts say a new contract and everything played down by United, but then again I really have no idea.

Vidic is a nut so I don't think it would be him, Jonny Evans...maybe, maybe Smalling, possibly Evra, I don't think he'd be that popular.
