There have been plenty of rumours about Wayne Rooney's future in recent days after he was dropped for the win over Fulham and the Daily Mirror reports that the striker fears Manchester United want to sell him. A £40million fee has been mooted, although it could be next year before he is sold after his relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson reportedly broke down.

Thought there might be a few pages on this but not 24!

Its implausible and I've called him a thug even before he joined United. No move here will change that.
