Re: Rooney

Why is Wayne Rooney "angry and confused?".......

Someone gave him a piece of paper with P.T.O. on both sides..........

this rooney situation is ferguson's present to moyes. they're mates, and rooney will have pissed off moyes something stupid with his book. moyes gets his revenge, which it defo is, and gets to impose himself instantly on the dressing room, warning all of em who is boss.

this is all a guess of course as i really know feck all, but it makes sense.

oh, and for the record, would not want rooney anywhere near our club. would be gutted to have that fat prick in a sky blue shirt

If i was shrek I'd bung in the request 2 days before end of the transfer window and wait fro Roman to piss them about for a price which the Gnomes will snap his hands off for. Just enough to pay of another interest payment.

Re: Rooney

BBC saying that Chelsea have offered £10m and either Mata or Luiz.

Turned down by the rags

If Mata is on his way out then we should bid.

Re: Rooney

If stories that United have rejected Chelsea's offer of £10m + Mata are true, then they are insane.

They probably think they can get more as CFC need Rooney, or a top striker

Re: Rooney

I think we have to view this matter from an objective vantage point. None of us like United's arrogant approach and its self-proclaimed status as the "biggest club in the world". Its manipulation of the press is sickening. But this doesn't whitewash Rooney, nor does it mean we've got to see him as the same raw talent of 2005, when he left Everton. Rooney was a game changer, though not since 2004 in international football. He was one of the United players opponents actually feared, actually the only one after Ronaldo left. But not any longer. His private life has always been a (very public) scandal, and his lifestyle never that of an athlete. It's now caught up with his football. He blackmailed a new contract out of the club in Dec 2010, turned up drunk for training at Christmas 2011 and was suspended for a game his colleagues lost 3-0, last season he was noticeably overweight and in the end was dropped for the game against Madrid (and others). This was not "disrespect" to Rooney but a simple recognition that overweight drunks aren't worth a place in big games. He's still ahead of Welbeck in the OT pecking order, but it's marginal with the pea and he's miles behind van oojah. His career in the big time seems over. If he goes elsewhere he may be able to discipline himself long enough to convince the press that "he's back to his brilliant best", but it won't last long and nowhere near a season. His pride is hurt, but that's his own fault. City should go nowhere near. He's trouble and not good enough. Pellegrini appears to spend wisely on players with excellent records, like many Mancini brought in, but who are not headline hoggers, and this has to be the best way.

Re: Rooney

10 mil + Mata bid for the granny shagger rejected. That's the bargain of the century.
2 rabbits with one bullet for the rags.

Chelsea offered David Luiz or Juan Mata plus £10m. United flaty rejected it. Chelsea will come back with another bid, however.

Chelsea, are you crazy ?

MEN reporting Chelsea's bid is just £10M, no players

Hahahahahahahaha - that's brilliant if true - play the dirty bastards at their own game, putting in bids which are never going to be accepted just to unsettle players and cause problems for the other Club - that's pretty much the Rag MO, so bravo to Chelsea for giving them a taste of their own medicine
