fuck me lets give him a chance first
i for one am not to bothered about RSC signing cos he does give us the option of a tall bloke up top, lets not forget he was playing with a bunch of cloggers at 'burn
everyone mumbled and grumbled when bellamy signed and until his injury, yes he was prone, he did the biz and knew were the sticks were
so now RSC plays in blue whether you like it or not and as mentioned bynly a handful of fellow blues, lets get behind him cos he does play in blue and thats a good thing

besides with the best fans in england behind him his confidence will be sky high, but when a bunch of dickheads knock before hes even had a go he aint gonna feel to ggreat about it

Totally agree with this. Still think a lot of fans have changed since the takeover - understand concerns over injuries but since when did we not welcome players to our club.....?

Bit underwhelmed to be honest, but then you can only sign what is available.

Then again Hughes did get the best out of him and I am hoping that his "injuries" last year were more to do with a sulk at not coming here in January.

I was a bit underwhelmed at RSC because of his injury but I've just read on another thread that his injury wasn't as bad as we all thought and he will be okay for pre season training.

Really? That's interesting. Thanks for that info.

It was a bit of a circus in January and possibly didn't help his commitment to the cause.

All pure conjecture of course.

*groan* One of the worst signings we could have made.

One of the worst?!! Wow who were you expecting Villa? Torres? I think we need a reality check here. We may be able to get those types of player next summer if we finish top 4 and make a good fist of challenging for the Prem but not this year. We could still land Eto'o but only with ridiculous wages and that would be disasterous for the team (I still hope a compromise can be made but I doubt it). Who you got left? Huntelaar? LOL

Dejong going missing is a bit weird. There was mention of his family not being settled here but I don't know if it had any substance.

Enjoyed that read! Very true and very good words!

We didnt sell our soul or the soul of our football club the day we were taken over by ADUG but we will lose our soul and dignity the day we let our money turn us into arrogant fans!
So keeping ourselves cool and happy about our rise and not let us turn into the Rags we hate is essential!

The quote above comes from upstairs.

The one below from this thread

Not having a go a vbr but some of the posts on the RSC thread suggests that the arrogance has started - I agree with Fuzz101:
