actually we are using Santa Cruz as a smokescreen to sign other players. it is easy for the papers to say we are signing him because we tried in Jan. but I can confirm there is NO truth we have even been in for him.

Well, you turned out to be spot on! Care to tell us who else we're not going to sign?

I think he'll be good for us but would have held a 15M for some time to come - I couldn't see any other club paying more than 15M

and people are thinking Eto'os wage deminds are excessive!!could of put this £18m towards them IMO

Good signing could do better but for now an improvement, hopefully he as got another big forward lined up just so we have cover. Thats if big phil is on his way...

We're supposedly holding back from Eto'o over a few thousand a week but getting RSC for 18 million, probably 6 million above his value... That 6 could've paid for what we are fighting over Eto'o with..
