Ross Barkley

Got to say, I have never shared a lot on heres confidence that he's a dead-cert to be a world beater. I don't see it at all. He's far from the best 21 year old I've ever seen and his injury record is appalling. Not to mention he's english, which although sounds harsh, our players very rarely seem to actually improve much after getting to about his age imo. I'm not saying he won't be a great player, but I don't see it as a certainty, or even a reasonable gamble at even half the price being mentioned.

I think this has been a fairly underwhelming season for him. Still think he has all the talent in the world though and would be a good replacement for Yaya in the future.. but not at £50m. If we can get him for £20-25m, then I'd jump at it.

Definitely, but I reckon with him being English and Everton not needing to sell he'll be nearer the £50m mark. For that price we'd be better going for Pogba or Vidal.

Absolute no chance they'd sell at £20-25 million and why should they, fantastic prospect. If we want him enough we would have to pay at least £35 million !

Worth noting though that he has been injured, as well as being played out of position.

Boy does he love a bit of a dive doesn't he? I thought that the yellow card was harsh as it was more like a foul from Lampard, but other than that he had two quite shocking dives, so after all, a yellow was the minimum.

The "incident" with Zabs was dodgy but was never a dive when he was booked.

He didn't help himself with the earlier one though.
