I hope we dodge Barkley like Wayne Rooney dodges salads. Way overpriced for a player who could still go either way.
For that price I want the finished article, not someone who is still developing and blows hot and cold.
I'd be happy if we paid that for Pogba, but I'd still have a few reservations. If we paid anywhere near £60M for Barkley, we'd want our fucking heads testing.

I bet she'd love him more on £100,000 per week and a house in Alderley Edge, or maybe she loves him for his wit and sparkling personality

He was impressive against Spurs despite the fact they absolutely hounded him. They gave him no time and had about two or three people pressing him at once. He still managed to find space, and to keep the ball despite that. In our side if he was closed down like that but still able to find a pass - Yaya, Silva, Aguero would have acres of room. The talent in our team means the opposition couldn't afford to put so many players on him and he would excel with more space.
He's definitely going to be a cracking player. It's just cost v benefit ratio considering Yaya can play the same role for a good couple of seasons longer and Pogba is more box to box and could slot straight in.
Barkley, who is an integral part of Roy Hodgson’s England squad, is on the most wanted list of Europe’s elite clubs as the January transfer window looms.
