As an Everton fan, I reckon we would sell him for around £40-45m, given we got for £30m for Fellaini and Barkley is home grown and younger, etc. I don't get why City don't throw everything at Pogba though, he's the player everyone wants Barkley to be and I think he would count as one of your home grown players too.
If he's worth that,i'd want £200 million for Aguero !

If i'm honest,I think Barkley's head has been turned .

It's an interesting thought because you would have thought with him being an Evertonian he would going all out die hard to help his club get up the league.

With our homegrown quota diminishing it wouldn't surprise me to know that me might have tapped him up, either way we are going to have to sign one or two English players this summer.

I would so much rather see Rony Lopes, Denayer and maybe Barker being a part of the first team set up than overpaying for any English talent.

Lopes will only count as homegrown after he plays a season with City next season.

Barker still needs a loan somewhere and Denayer won't ever become classed as homegrown because even if he is in the squad next season he will have only been a City player for two seasons before he is 21, he needs three.

We will have to buy an English player or two anyway.

ORe: Ross Barkley

This has taken a significant step forward in the last 24 hours.

The wheels are in motion and it would seem the replacement for Milner.

He's a top talent and aims to prove it.

Give the lad a chance if the money men make it work.

Ok....as Jimmys replacement I can handle that.....as long as it doesn't impact on our need for a midfield general.

What fee are we talking, and is it appearance based?

So Barkley's head has been turned?

I think he is a top talent and as a Milner replacement it's good business, if he was seen as our saviour to our midfield or Yaya's replacement I would be worried.

Don't ask for jam on it when all I have is peanut butter;)

As I said, the wheels have started turning.

Don't think we need to be worried on that score.

Its all about timing and manipulation Tolm;-)
