As an Everton fan, I reckon we would sell him for around £40-45m, given we got for £30m for Fellaini and Barkley is home grown and younger, etc. I don't get why City don't throw everything at Pogba though, he's the player everyone wants Barkley to be and I think he would count as one of your home grown players too.
If he's worth that,i'd want £200 million for Aguero !

If i'm honest,I think Barkley's head has been turned .

Inside knowledge?
Sorry can't answer that and can't really see what people on here are seeing. He's gonna be quality and streets ahead of Milner !

he has the physical attributes (pace, strength) and technical attributes (ball control, shooting) but is woefully lacking tactically and mentally (vision etc.)

What are next weeks lottery numbers?

No doubt talented and hopefully playing in better facilities and better players etc he can reach his hype and potential

In that first summer I honestly thought Txiki was the best thing to happen to this club that could have but this is getting silly, In a pattern of paying way over the odds for potential or for solid players, whilst refusing to pay essentially the same money for established talent. Bizarre. Another dopey summer could be really costly and 40-45 mil for barkley would kill it before its begun IMO.

Guy is not ready for a big club, might be in a couple of years but not right now. Such naive business.

I would so much rather see Rony Lopes, Denayer and maybe Barker being a part of the first team set up than overpaying for any English talent.

Lopes will only count as homegrown after he plays a season with City next season.

Barker still needs a loan somewhere and Denayer won't ever become classed as homegrown because even if he is in the squad next season he will have only been a City player for two seasons before he is 21, he needs three.

We will have to buy an English player or two anyway.

Lopes is HG in all but name. For the PL he doesn't need to be registered as he is under the age of 21. For the CL he is U21 as he has spent two years with city so for the purpose of the squad makeup he is hg.

As for buying English or hg players. Clyne should be the cheapest and easiest to get Imo and I think we need a quick young hungry right back. Schniderlin as a DM or either bale or sterling for the wing and HG quota is set. (we will be able to name a 22 man cl squad)

I am very sure signed before his 16th Birthday. He is 19 now so would qualify as homegrown. If your on loan it still counts. Denayer would count as homegrown at the end of next season I believe.

even if the loan doesnt count it doesnt matter. he wont need to be registered for either the cl or pl and could play in both, the season after he could be registered as HG

Perhaps he just needs a change of scenery and has outgrown Everton.
People are making out that he's failing to find his best for a number of reasons, but the reality is that his best has never been that good. It's not as if he was fantastic last season and is struggling to match it, he was little more than decent last year. He's shown glimmers of being a great player, but he's never shown anything to suggest he's a consistently good player, yet alone a great one. I just don't get it at all.
