Ross Barkley

Gonna be 1 hell of a player in the yaya mould city need to put a down payment on him now let him stay at everton for another season then he'll be ready to come to us as yaya's replacement.

give them yaya and 30m and we still would call it cheap.

Barkley was intrigued by the chance of a move to the Rags when Gollom was still there. Since his departure he has had a rethink and a change of heart and at the point of leaving for the WC his intention is to stay with Everton for at least another season and see how things go with the promises he has had from Martinez. That may or may not help us long term if he develops as expected as he has a close friend playing for our EDS that could possibly influence any decisions further down the line.

Excellent player but very raw, however, he has huge potential.

It is whether he can fulfil his potential that is the biggest question. No one has a crystal ball to make that prediction.

FFS, what is he, 20?! You aren't gonna get a finished article at that age, although he's still "developed" enough for England it seems! However, if you can't see how good he already is, never mind how good he's gonna be, then heaven help us. Ya Ya will be at the top of his game for another year at most (and even that's assuming he stops being a dick and stays), and if we don't pitch in for this lad right now, it will be too late, cos one of our competitors most assuredly will. The must have signing of the summer for me, raw or not
