Although some would like to ignore the report and smokescreen it with some other news that's vaguely related.

I have recently had dealings with Social Services. Whilst my complaint was about something totally different to this case I will briefly tell the story as it perhaps highlights the problems we the normal person faces.

For reasons I wont go into I had dealings with Rochdale Social Services, the Social Worker was appalling, put me and Mrs Mist under enormous stress and she also acted illegally.

I complained. The person who was put in charge of investigating the complaint was one of the people I had complained about (his lack of action) As a result the legal department decided it was best that somebody else look into the matter.

Three missed deadlines later I received a letter from them. The social worker had been an agency worker and now had moved on therefore they would not investigate that part of the complaint. The part of the complaint that dealt with her supervisors still in post was found in my favour and those people were advised, and that was that 12 months of heartache worry and stress dealt with in one letter as they brushed it all under the carpet.

The cheeky bastards said at the end of the letter that if I didn't agree with their findings I could complain to the Ombudsman and since then they have refused to answer any correspondence. They wont tell me where the social worker is now working or how I can continue the complaint against her.

I know not all social workers are bastards but it sure feels like that.

And the Pakistani community do have blame in this crime because that's where the abusers come from., if you know anything about the Pakistani community you will know that they are extremely tight knit.

The same excuses you are displaying are probably the same excuses councils and police officers gave for not conducting investigations properly for fear of being labelled a racist.

Because these monsters haven't been caught and brought to book i'm assuming every Pakistani male of raping age is a candidate and that's where the investigation should start.

Or should we start investigating white British christian females for cases of FGM because we shouldn't save resources and narrow it down by profiling the obvious?

He didn't actually write that no. Read it again. Obviously every criminal has a profile and if witnesses cone forward to say the perpetrator was Asian then that's were you look. If the witness says the perpetrator had one leg then no one with two legs would be under suspicion.

This isn't being racist it's taking evidence from witnesses to narrow your search

I'm sure when push comes to shove, this case will end up being more about mysogyny than it is about Muslims or the British Pakistani community. It's about men who treat women like a piece of meat. This goes on all over the country in all communities. I was listening to a tattooed moron dressing his poor wife down in asda car park today. This is the most pathetic post on this thread, are u seriously comparing the rape of 1400 young girls to some guy who had an argument with his other half, and then accuse him of being a rapist.
This is not an issue of men lording over women, it is an issue of children being gang raped, and this does not go on in every community all over the country, but as we are hearing far too often it goes on all over the country in the Pakistani community...
