Edited for you.And it is by accident of birth, genetics being what they are, when with the inbreeding they've no more 'royal blood' at this stage than anyone else of German/Greek heritage.

I nominate Blair to be first in the queue, followed by Wee Jimmie Fishwife, Jenrick, Cummins and Paddy Crerand.
Any chance we could sneak Michael MacIntyre into that queue?I nominate Blair to be first in the queue, followed by Wee Jimmie Fishwife, Jenrick, Cummins and Paddy Crerand.
Nah! GDM is ok reallyAny chance we could sneak Michael MacIntyre into that queue?
William is very popular, Charles less so but Harry is pretty disliked now, from being the favourite after the Queen.I’m indifferent to the Royal Family, that said I can’t see them lasting once Liz pops her clogs. Charlie and William don‘t have the nous or the public affection to hold it together.
Give it to Harry and Meghan and you might extend the shelf life.
As for the story. That the Royal Family bends the system to suit themselves can’t be news to anyone. They are in a position of privilege and will use that position to benefit themselves. The British system pretty much runs on corruption (except we call it ‘cronyism’).

They\re not the only ones who are in a privileged position and bend the rules to suit themselves. Both Houses at Westminster are stuffed with plenty of examples.I’m indifferent to the Royal Family, that said I can’t see them lasting once Liz pops her clogs.
