Rugby Fans are brought up better

According to Chief Superintendent John Graves of greater manchester police Rugby fans are brought up better than football fans.

He said: "Rugby is a friendly sport and I think that stems from the way that the fans are brought up.
Is he right?

I played rugby and lacrosse at Grammar school,and was a proper gayer.
As soon as I went to university I became straight.

Well I have a season ticket at city and warrington so what am I? On Saturday between 12.45 and 3 I will be a thug and then become a model citizen when I go to watch the grand final at 6pm?

In all seriousness there is far less venom between rugby supporters but it does kick off - Featherstone fans would give Leeds a run for their money in terms if thuggery.

I've watched Preston Grasshoppers v Fylde several times - loads of banter, women in drinking competitions, no cops anywhere.

As soon as I went to university I became straight.

Convent schools are evil especially for boys. All the noise and the evil nuns.

It still makes me shudder.

They could de-segregate most football games and have no trouble at all. All the posturing and aggression is alot easier to do when you've got a row of police stood between you.
