Rugby League Season 2023

I've not heard of this Locker Cup - how do they decide which match it pops up in?
I think it always used to always be the New Year’s Day game as Wire played Wigan on NYD every year. But when SL changed to Summer rugby it got sidelined.

It was brought back in 2019.

It started in 1938.

Wire look a very little side.

No Dudson or Harrison tonight and Mikele has left and that’s about 50% of all our 6footers out/gone. Philbin is also out but while he is a bullet of a runner, he’s only about 5’10”.

Wigan are getting dominance with their far superior size. And they have Smithies and Cooper out. They only have about four or five under 6foot.

Howard Webb is video ref tonight
Don’t mind the Video Ref, it’s that Touchy on the far side: Wigan’s first try was about a metre forward and that one where he ran on the pitch and said Wire knocked it on when it came off the Wigan lad… what’s he on, glue?

Then the ref gave a dissent penalty against Vaughan for saying ‘but they slapped it down’. How is that dissent?

Like the old days

Wire’s kicking game has been appalling n’all. I don’t think one kick has been under any pressure neither, just poor kicking.

What the fuck is that from the officials? Vaughan’s one before went backwards and that one he had downward pressure and never lost contact with his arm, fucking joke.
