Yeah this is absolutely horseshit.

Fiji were going to be the dark horses until wales beat them and then they’re just crap.

Georgia were going to challenge the tier 1s until Wales beat them and then they were just crap.

Australia werent great, but they’re also not that bad.

Rewriting all these teams as awful just because wales beat them is revisionist and dishonest.


Wales had a perfectly good tournament given the expectations going in post Pivac. Lots of positive stories out of it and we’ll be stronger in the 6N in a few months.

I suppose I should take it as a compliment you think Wales did poorly by matching Ireland and Scotlands best ever finish in a World Cup.

Any six nation team with pretensions of winning the tournament cannot be said to have a good World Cup when losing in the quarter finals to fucking Argentina.

Unless its a tier two side, any side going out in the quarters hasnt had a good world cup. We are a poor side & losing to Argentina proved it

Two brilliant games. But that one was superb. What high class rugby by both teams. You associate NZ with sat tacking flair, which they showed for their tries, but their defence was sensational. 40 plus phases without a penalty and forcing one themselves having spent 20 minutes and a lot of the game defending...wow!

Feel for the Irish, another QF defeat, but purely down to the draw being done so long ago. They remain an outstanding team, and have been a pleasure to watch.

Ireland should have done better at the previous world cup if they wanted a better draw, we all knew the rules
