England used their very limited game to the absolute max. Fine effort but very glad they are out.

I've tried in the past. I watched the whole game today. I don't get it. Mostly the ball is booted up or out of play. Sometimes the ref awards a penalty for obscure reasons and gives a chance to boot the ball over the posts. Great skill to boot the ball over the posts though.. And err, that's about it.

I don’t watch much of this sport unless it’s a World Cup but watching England takes it to a whole new level. So dull to watch. France and Ireland in the Seni’s with NZ and SA would have been more of a spectacle from what I have seen in the earlier games.

Ironically, it wasn't really; it was just that the referee decided it was a non-contest.

Agreed. I watched Ireland v NZ last week. Admittedly in a pub with a few pints down. It looked a look different. More pass and move I suppose. But still seemed like play could be stopped and a penalty awarded at any moment at the discretion of the ref.
