I might skip that one.
I'm expecting a 45-20 freerunning belter.
And 10-6 to someone on Saturday!
I might skip that one.
Ironically, it wasn't really; it was just that the referee decided it was a non-contest.
And so you should be mate.
It's always been the same - refs get very one-eyed and keep penalising the same team. As City fans, we see it most weeks!I think its why casual watchers like myself can never really get into the game. I heard on the radio last week that about 70% of decisions were actually incorrect but due to the complications of the game refs kind of just try to even things out.
Seems a bit of a mad way of doing things tbh.
Agreed. I watched Ireland v NZ last week. Admittedly in a pub with a few pints down. It looked a look different. More pass and move I suppose. But still seemed like play could be stopped and a penalty awarded at any moment at the discretion of the ref.
Pretty much what I said at the start. And I know fvck all about rugby.
The scrum was demolished in the second half.
I don’t watch much of this sport unless it’s a World Cup but watching England takes it to a whole new level. So dull to watch. France and Ireland in the Seni’s with NZ and SA would have been more of a spectacle from what I have seen in the earlier games.
Scrums are almost impossible to ref. 16 blokes and you have to pick one who caused it to fall or spin. It's always been the same - refs get very one-eyed and keep penalising the same team. As City fans, we see it most weeks!
Tell us about it.If anyone can explain that last scrum penalty then I’m all ears?
Congrats South Africa, bomb squad did what it does but England bullies that Bokke pack for long periods and the game was won on a ref’s call.
Great final next week to look forwards to.
