Rule Changes | EFL & PL | 2023/24

Limit the number of VAR challenges per match (each team gets 3).

Players that dive must lay on the sidelines in their last diving position for 2 minutes so everyone can heckle them and their team is down a man during that time.

faking a head injury should be a red card (easy to prove with VAR). A harsh rule but it would stop a lot of bullshit that goes on
Or....if a player goes down claiming a head injury, he must go off the pitch and receive concussion protocol before being allowed back on.

Yellow card for deliberately running in front of a free kick to stop it being taken quickly, and then eventually only retiring about 3 yards when it’s taken cutting off a legitimate route.

Revert back to refs being a legitimate obstacle when hit by the ball and so avoid the nonsense of stopping the game.

ALL officials to be miked up & all conversations audible and recorded.
Refs to address the media no later than 10 minutes after the final whistle.
Captain only to address ref.
Digital stadium clock to be stopped when ball is NOT BEING PLAYED
If a player is injured by an opponent and has to leave the pitch the offending player must also leave the pitch.
Offside flag/whistle to be used immediately a player is deemed offside.
Fifteen minute sin bin and an ORANGE CARD for diving (Orange Card = 1.5 Yellow Cards)
Handball penalties have to be deemed to be clearly deliberate in preventing an obvious goal or clear goal chance.
Offside is clear and obvious daylight twixt players with benefit of doubt to the attacker.
Free kicks for fouls can be taken from any position on the pitch no closer to the opponents goal to the advantage of the fouled team.
Corners ditto from either side.

To be continued.
