Yeah, it's just cos you burnt more calories than you normally do. You're craving glucose for brain and body function, basically. Also, your body needs energy to recover from an intense workout like that. But miles hungrier than I am after a 5k, hour of spinning or 5 a side though mate. A "different" kind of hunger.
That's quick!5k done in 23 minutes, need under 22:30 for my challenge from the running group. Try again on Sunday.
1 or 2 on here quicker than that. That's quick!
Think my quickest was about 24.30(ish) but that was on a treadmill.........
I’d be happy now to get down to a comfortable 25 minutes. Currently at around 26 minutes but only really been back running over the last 3/4 weeks after nearly a year of nothing. Used to be able to get under 20 mins but those days are long gone. I always felt if I could get to 5 minute k’s comfortably, then that was my baseline. Then chip away at that over time. That's quick!

Well done. It does take your mind off things. I listen to audiobooks during my runs.I've done a lot in April.
I was doing the Manchester marathon but hopefully now that's in October.
However I've run most days on my own and shed about a stone.
Its helped me cope a lot as I get stressed and have a bit of anxiety.
