Cheers! I try not to look at my watch especially first part of a run, but it felt so slow and sluggish and yet out clearly wasn't. The 50 minute barrier has been a real curse, so many times finished on 50.05 or around that, target is to get it down to 46/47 now49.59 is breaking 50 mins. 48.54 is smashing the 50 mins barrier. Well done.
Good for age time is the way to go. If normal life returns you can have a few goes at it over the years and the target time increases as you get older. I managed to qualify at Manc marathon in 2013.Anyone on here in the ballot for the london marathon? Results are out today
Did my hill sprints Sunday morning. Only managed to do about 5 sprints and I say it was about 150 yards.
Woke up in pain in all my legs, feet and stomach.
Still aching now.
Chin up mate. We will soon be out of this.I run every day.
