Running thread

Been out for 2 weeks as hurt my calf. Been using volterol and wearing compression socks since. Had few walks longest being 6 miles. Feels ok and hoping to go for light mile tomorrow as a furlough day from work. 6 months ago if someone had said I'd miss running 3 times a week and be excited about getting out again I'd have thought they were crazy
 
Anyone tried running with ankle weights, am "weighing" up giving it a go

Although, for distance running, would act in a similar way to keeping your calories up and you work harder.
 
Another decent week for me for a total of 12 miles in the last 5 days and looking forward to a trail run this weekend.

I enjoyed 6 miles this morning setting off just after 6 am heading towards a full moon and returning to brightening skies in the east before sunrise. Brilliant.
