Running thread

I follow a plan to a certain degree and use goandrace.com. You can put in your target time and date of race and will give you a really varied plan, including slow runs, tempos, intervals etc. Doesn’t say on what surface but I’ve done a variety of road, trail and even treadmill when the temp has been too hot outside as the gym is supposedly ai conditioned.
Plus it gives you pace per km which I’m shockingly bad at sticking to but it does support the run slower to run faster mindset.
 
The return of Parkrun and good to just be involved.

Great turnout as well. I was position 255.
 
Awesome to be back at Heaton Parkrun, just a shame they’d extended the course to 5.3k, lol, which meant no genuine 5k time.

Strange they hadn’t bothered sorting a more exact course to get it to 5k, even when the gaffer was explaining the changes it was bloody obvious it was going to be well over.
