Running thread

2 miles home from cat sitting yesterday morning. My other half drove me there as she wanted to see the cats. It's 1.6 miles but I added bit at end to take it to 2 miles. Then 1.5 miles there and back this morning before work
 
Managed a half decent 12k last night after suffering a collapse in motivation. Due to time constraints I have been running the same routes, not mixing up my training so losing out on the essence of running, challenging yourself and exploration.

Back on it now.
 
As long as it's not proper lashing down it's okay.

But yeah its a great way to cool down

The other unpleasant thing about summer running is all the insects around. I bought a pair of running shades recently to stop getting flies in my eyes, but still end up with a few in my mouth every run!
