Running thread

After a crap 18 mths due to 2 shoulder fractures, managed to get back up to 10 miles recently (over a min a mile slower than before injury) and have now got a calf strain, been 3 weeks resting and I am going stir crazy. So I did some research on new runners as I have used Ultraboost for years but hate the 21 and 22 versions and purchased a shiny new pair of Asics Novablast 2. Anyone had any experience in these? The research and early walks seem to fit what I want but not being able to run is a bind.

I was wondering what trainers everyone is wearing these days? And do you like them?
Ultraboost 20s - for me they are perfect lots of cushioning and great grip. However the UB21s and 22s are totally different and I don't like them (mainly the weight of the things they are 1/3 Kg each!). So just bought Asics Novablast 2 but not able to run as I am nursing an injury, will update you when I do.
Ps: Shoes should be a totally personal thing, some people like cushioning, others like light weight and others may need stability, I would always suggest getting your gait analysed before buying a new brand of runners.
