What do people listen to to zone out on their runs?
I find it difficult to run unless I have zoned out and I need music to achieve that, only issue is I get bored listening to the same albums/playlist successively. Any suggestions?
I was with you until about midway through my marathon training plan when they didn't allow "in-ear" headphones for a HM race so I went without music and really enjoyed it. Since then I did a number of runs without music and you soon become used to taking in the sights or just having a conversation in your own head. It's much more enjoyable generally.
Failing that, something with a consistent beat always works well to keep the legs moving. Plenty of playlists on spotify/youtube. Hard to advise as no idea what your genre is!
