It's great to see so many achievements in here. Loads of great miles and healthy habits. It's very encouraging and inspiring to see the fruits of these efforts.
2022 has been somewhat of a fallow year for me. Training has been affected by several bouts of illness (including Covid three times!) and injuries including some cracked ribs which are still giving me grief. I also started an intensive new job a year or so ago and that has also made it extra hard to get the training in.
1,400 miles in total for the year, which is OK for me but not great. Didn't run any marathons; longest run was 18 miles. I don't think I took part in any organised races.
Still, I'll have done 30-odd miles this week so that brings me into the new year in a decent starting position for building fitness, especially as we start to get a bit more light.
I will be interested to see how you guys go into the new year. Are you planning to do anything different in terms of health and fitness, compared with 2022?
