First race of the year, Greenwich 10k, 3 laps but a monster of a hill each time
slower than last year but pleased with 54 mins as only really got back into running since start of year

Pleased to have - unexpectedly - got up to 16miles this morning. Not fast but I did it and I could have done more if I didn't have something on that I had to get home for. Had to evade some floodwater but that was OK.

did a really good half mara on Sunday 4 Villages at Helsby,would highly recommend escpecially for anyone doing Manchester MAra in 2024.It was a bit cold and blustery but well organised and a fast course ,even though there were a few lumps to run up.

Did 15 miles on Sunday, following a 3 month programme for Manchester Marathon on 16/4.
The perfect pick me up after Saturday, except for seeing fucking Ryan Giggs in Costa in Hale before the run

Well done guys on an those runs. I've been heavily involved in the referees threads these last few days. I'm thinking of applying to be moderator on them.
Anyway, I'm happy to report 5km after the game on Saturday to clear my head. Slow, but very little sign of the tendonitis. Fitness gone though.
I'm in Yorkshire this week and there's a treadmill at our accommodation. I'm hoping to get a few more gentle runs in the next week.
