You will smash it mate.

Nice and steady.
Yeah, steady is the key mate. Just want to beat 2 hours.

Sounds like you’re doing great, haven’t the foggiest what you’re on about with your updates, lol, but good progress!

Pmsl just google couch25k and you will get it.

Watched a bloke run Chadderton Park in just over 18 minutes last week they reckon whatever your normal park run time is this’ll be 2 minutes over. Horrible course. He fucking smashed it!!

I got the joy of completing my first sub 20 I’d trained about 6 months for. On the same day, one of the running club ran 15 minutes. I know you shouldn’t compare and everybody runs their own race but I couldn’t help feel less impressed with myself hahaha!

Been doing some hill sprints in the clough. Absolutely killer but I have heard it is better than normal jobbing/running. Walk up the 99 steps also afterward!

It is.

I do these 3x a week and do one ‘long’ run per week.

The hill work forces the body to adapt like fuck.

Brutal for fat loss as well.

Run 2 of couch25k tonight which is the last run/walk with 2x10mins running and the single 3min walk.

Had a hell of a week in work with me walking 18.7km's on Tuesday alone and tonight i felt as knackered as i have since i started the program. Knees are suddenly sore, back is aching and mentally i just feel fucked.

Im also losing weight through a calorie controlled diet and have lost just over 2st since the middle of March and im wondering if due to the increased run times now, up to 25min runs with next 2 weeks seeing me do 3x25mins then 3x28mins and finally 3x30mins i need to up the calorie intake safe in the knowledge that due to the running it wont mean i suddenly start to put weight on again?

Any tips greatly appreciated.
