Get 9 miles done this weekend, 11 over Easter then the 13.1 the following.... it’s only 2 x 10k plus a K ......Best crack on with some training.

That will be tough. I've managed 16k this year, and was pretty exhausted at the end of it.Sunday April 11th for Bluemoom Virtual Half Marathon.

Would Sat 10th be acceptable as I'm normally pretty busy on Sundays with other stuff?

Im gonna take inspiration from a bloke near me who ran 100k for charity on Satursday. 10k loop he did it 10 times over 12 hours. If he can do that, i can train and drag my ass around a half marathon.Get 9 miles done this weekend, 11 over Easter then the 13.1 the following.... it’s only 2 x 10k plus a K ......
It all goes there automatically when I arrive home after a run. Garmin watch > Garmin app > Strava by the time I'm out of the shower.you can delay posting to strava etc btw ;-)
I was hoping for last place this time - unless we have age adjusted times.Be keen to do this, but il end up last haha.
Great set of times but for me the ‘winner’ is the person who took the most off their PB. Doesn’t matter the overall time, they are the ones who’ve done the best.

I feel like this is a joke that I'm not smart enough to work out.Does anyone suffer with this condition through running by any chance Plantar fasciitis
Asking because I’ve been doing 5 miles a day walk for the last 7 weeks, this last week I’ve been crippled on hands and knees up the stairs etc, bottom of my feet are like I’ve broke bones in them sooooo painful palI suffer from all sorts from running, shin splints, burning sensation underneath my feet which Plantar fasciitis is symptoms of.
Been complaining of issues with my shins etc for months, finally seen my local physio and now next week seeing a podiatrist near me to look at insoles for shoes etc.

Enjoyed the 10k on Sunday. Ended up with a time of 51:47.
Considering I'd been laying flags all day I'm pretty happy with that. It's nice getting likes from other people in the group. For some reason, it makes running way more positive when you know your hard work is being acknowledged!
