Running thread

Has anyone got the new ultra boost 21s? I have been using ultra boost for years, especially for my long runs but have read that the latest iteration is really heavy compared to the last.

Calf went this morning, might have to wing the HM next weekend... no real training just run it.
Hmmm. Not sure that's a good idea ? But it's up to you and you know your capacity and training level. I'll probably give it a miss because I have not done the miles and risk injury.

I'll try a 10 mile fell run over Easter and see how it goes.

I’ve got the distance in me no problem as I’ve done it plenty of times, as long as the leg holds out and I don’t rush.

I think you should swerve it, I had calf problems a few years ago and they are a complete bugger to recover from. I would recommend a decent sports massage or to (when you can) and rest

I run primarily to keep in some sort of shape for wed night footy...and Tennis.
Was looking forward to my first game of footy for months earlier today ...went for a short run last weekend and pulled something top of left thigh.at my age no point in aggravating it so had to miss my match..
Not a happy bunny. Bit of a why always me ? mood today...

Back in the groove. After a 6 week rest ! ( Knee issues, could hardly run ) been doing 30 mins a day exercise on my knee laid out by the physio. Had a few runs to test the knee at slow pace. On Tuesday I was able to run at half decent 3 mile pace at 7 mins 40 per mile.
Not being able to run has killed me. Great to be back in the swing of things

ive never done a 3k ,but have run a track mile at about 6.05, in a 5km race id run about 6.50/7mm pace so maybe ,look at going somewhere between your quickest mile pace and 5km race pace
