Here we go again, the thread hijacked.
Yes or at least somewhat near
Mariupol.Where was that?
The BBC news departments have been strong armed into giving the government an easy ride. It’s a national shame how little scrutiny they put the government under. The BBC often goes after the UK government. So much so that the Prime Minister ran away from them for so long.
My problem with the BBC is their Rag infested Sports dept.
Those last two lines. Perfect.Taken from an opinion piece in the Guardian yesterday.....
"The same goes for the European Union. Britons, especially, came to associate the EU with trade at best, pettifogging bureaucracy at worst. When the EU won the Nobel peace prize in 2012, many scratched their heads with incomprehension. Well, there’s no excuse for bafflement now. Putin has jogged our memories that the EU was founded out of the conviction that the only future for a continent that had been at the centre of two world wars in 30 years was to come together: to share sovereignty rather than to kill for it. The sight of a khaki-clad Volodymyr Zelenskiy signing Ukraine’s request to join the EU, even as Russian forces approached, demonstrated again that for Europeans, the EU has always been about safety and peace. How shaming to think of the Eurosceptics who pretended the EU was some kind of foreign occupier, referring to it as the “EUSSR”. How shaming to think that the British contribution to this noble postwar ideal was to abandon it."
I reckon if Putin didn’t have his nukes we’d obviously already all be in there fighting his army (by all I mean NATO)… and I reckon NATO would demolish it.
I’ve been very unimpressed by the Russian war effort, it’s shown how weak they are without their nuclear weapons.
AK 47, Russian “democracy”
Murdoch and family come in for a lot of criticism, but Sky news is pretty good. And so they should go after government, although they don’t do it enough for me.
They do force others to up their game though, especially in the news world. Sky, ITV and C4 are excellent which becomes ever more apparent if you spend a week in the states.

Yeah maybe you’re right but I certainly think NATO armed forces would run over this Russian outfit.I don't think all of NATO would have if Putin had no Nukes, as with previous overseas conflicts NATO Individual memebers have go involved but not all of them.
Turkey I wouldn't see as getting involved unless threatened, also couldn't see canada, portugal, spain or germany sending forces in either.
More likely once Russia was repelled a full peacekeeping force made up from every memeber would be stationed, but an initial countrr invasion would proabbaly be the US, UK, Poland and tge Baltic states
