Russian invasion of Ukraine

What would happen say it went off in space ? So it can’t actually be shot down

It takes very specific set of conditions for a nuclear bomb to go off, so they can be shot down without detonating. That's why countries like the US invest so much in things like this and why the development of hypersonic nuclear weapons is so big - in theory they go too fast to be shot down.

Agreed. Seen a few people on here trot out the “they’re just kids” line.

Every single Russian soldier who sets foot in Ukraine uninvited wants either dragging to The Hague or a bullet in the head.

The Nuremberg defence is weak piss and knocks me sick.
They are conscripts and not military men if you are told by your Co to march you march. All armies have committed atrocities the English are no different. What do think will happen that soldier who downs tools? He will be sent home? They will beat him senseless as an example to the rest and drag him along regardless. Imo the Russia army has no interest in this war

Practically impossible for nuclear explosion in space due to certain criteria not being met. If still under propulsion, then possible for traditional explosion but not nuclear

The yanks had operation Starfish Prime which exploded a nuclear device 250 miles up which is considered "Low space" I believe mate.

We had conscientious objectors who were forced to work the land of down the pit etc if they refused to fight.

Committing atrocities is a decision it's not a group directive, the "English" you are talking about was circa 300 years ago, since then we have fought under the "British" banner.

No need for the whataboutery here.

What ha happens when the Russians deploy chemical weapons to crush pockets of resistance as in Syria.? Do we still just watch and wring our hands. What a dilemma.
It’s a dire situation where you feel desperate to help directly to stop it but the shadow of the mushroom cloud looms behind every decision you make.
