Russian invasion of Ukraine

This man on sky news gives two much away when he explains how Ukraine weapons work and how they are used he’s an expert that’s what worries me
If you mean Michael Clarke, he talks a lot of sense, and only discloses what is already in the public domain.

12 rockets x 7 launchers. I'm no military expert but I don't see how this can turn things ?
was watching a video on them earlier, they are gps guided rockets with a 5m radius of error from 50 miles. While its not a large number, they can do a lot of damage assuming accurate targeting can be done via drones etc. As long as they can be kept safe and fed with rockets they could do a lot of damage to Russian artillery positions. even better if they can take out the thermobaric launchers.

I also get a feeling this will increase over time. once its proven Russia wont do anything after they are there, increase the numbers and the quality of the ammo. there are some that can hit with 5m radius of error from 500km.

If they are successfully hitting Russian artillery positions then Russia will be tasking it's air power to hunt them down. Hence the Ukrainians will need a decent air defence system around them. And troops to defend the air defence systems. You can't have just one system that is a game changer on it's own - everything it interconnected (AKA the 'all-arms battle').

Yeah protecting these wont be easy for sure.

the Micheal Clarke video posted above basically said he'd be surprised if 2/3 of them are still working 2 weeks after starting.

Yanks have sent Stinger Anti Aiscraft Systems with the HIMARS.
Think the HIMARS was designed to fire so quickly,so it can move location quickly also???

The Russian leadership really doesn't care how many of their own troops die. Herd them to the slaughter in the meat grinder seems to be the current strategy.
3 to 5 Russian casualties for every Ukrainian casualty seems to be the way things are. currently unfolding.
Seems to be the going rate for attacking well defended positions.

12 x 7 launchers firing for 2 hours a day = 10,080 detonations a day, 4 hours = 20.160

Pretty sure each pod holds and fires 6 rockets.
The yanks doubled them up on some vehicles so the were capable of firing 12 in quick succession.
Hopefully the US have sent 7 lots of 2 launchers.
I'm no expert by the way,it's only what i've read.

what did you count for reload time. takes about 5min's per reload from what the video said earlier.

so thats 12 volly's per hour per launcher which is 144 rockets launched per hour per unit.
