Russian invasion of Ukraine

The German rocket launchers won't get to Ukraine till the Winter. They need a software upgrade to fire UK and US rockets.
Probably the same for all the other German promises.
All talk and no action.

If true, that's incredible in this day and age. Software upgrade.....the Yanks had complete weapon systems designed, built and in service in less time 80 years ago

Entirely depends on why the software is being updated. if a critical hacking flaw has been found it could take a while to fix.

For example, the US hacked all the Iranian air defences and disabled them a couple of years back when they were going to go in and take out some nuke generators, before Trump ordered a U-turn on the planes ( one of the biggest military blunders the US has made in a while showing there cards like that without following through ).

if a flaw has been discovered recently in what Germany have it could be why it takes so long to fix as russia does have some pretty good hackers.

Hold on a sec that’s the plot for Top Gun Maverick!

Vasily Grigoryevich Zaitsev.......not too sure if he was Ukrainian or Russian....my old fella used to swear he was from Ukraine, but he would do.
Reported,he was probably the best sniper ever......died in Kiev(Kyiv),early 90s.
As for another film based on something from Ukraine...it was called "two half-times from hell".
It's about Dynamo Kiev during the 2nd world war who later played as "Start".
8 Dynamo players and 3 Lokomotiv players....no team could beat them, not even some unbeaten elite Luftwaffe team, who were trounced.
There is a book called "Dynamo"....it is unreal, read it......the film called "two half times in hell" was later re-made and was called "Escape To Victory"
bet ya seen it.

On another note,Russia's top sniper has bit the bullet in Ukraine..

One of Russia's top snipers has been killed in Ukraine, according to Russian media...

  • Sergeant Sergei Tsarkov was the best sniper in his brigade and often won international competitions, per reports.
The story of the match

This is awful, but I am not clear why anyone would willingly go and fight in another countrys war in the first place.....
I think Aslin was fighting in Syria against the Islamic state before he went to Ukraine in 2018, so he obviously enjoys it.
This is a message to all foreign fighters that if we capture you ,we will kill you.
