Russian invasion of Ukraine

what did you count for reload time. takes about 5min's per reload from what the video said earlier.

so thats 12 volly's per hour per launcher which is 144 rockets launched per hour per unit.
I was only firing for 4 hours a day.
Ammo supply and distribution logistics is clearly the real problem.

The Russian leadership really doesn't care how many of their own troops die. Herd them to the slaughter in the meat grinder seems to be the current strategy.
3 to 5 Russian casualties for every Ukrainian casualty seems to be the way things are. currently unfolding.
I can't remember the name of the film, 2nd world War, Russian sniper v German sniper.
I don't know how historically accurate it was but the opening scenes are of unarmed Russians being urged forward 'pick up the rifle from a dead comrade'
Life means little to them, they believe numbers will win the war.

Vasily Grigoryevich Zaitsev.......not too sure if he was Ukrainian or Russian....my old fella used to swear he was from Ukraine, but he would do.
Reported,he was probably the best sniper ever......died in Kiev(Kyiv),early 90s.
As for another film based on something from Ukraine...it was called "two half-times from hell".
It's about Dynamo Kiev during the 2nd world war who later played as "Start".
8 Dynamo players and 3 Lokomotiv players....no team could beat them, not even some unbeaten elite Luftwaffe team, who were trounced.
There is a book called "Dynamo"....it is unreal, read it......the film called "two half times in hell" was later re-made and was called "Escape To Victory"
bet ya seen it.

On another note,Russia's top sniper has bit the bullet in Ukraine..

One of Russia's top snipers has been killed in Ukraine, according to Russian media...

  • Sergeant Sergei Tsarkov was the best sniper in his brigade and often won international competitions, per reports.

Was it Enemy at the Gates?

So the RAF strategy of low flying low to avoid Russian RADAR was spot on...
Who'd have thought the RAF was right?
Note the red light that pops on. That indicates that RADAR has locked on resulting in the pilot dodging the plane around.
