Same here, worked on a few Euronorm standards committees, one took 10 yrs to complete and the bureaucracy was unbelievable. So like you I think ascension to EU member status for Ukraine will be years in the making, particularly when they wont want to upset countries that are already in the queue.I've worked on several EU funded culture projects - takes two years and a week long conference in a Swedish university to get a logo signed off (true story) so the process of admitting a war-torn Eastern European nation will take a lot longer than three months..!
That's true for NATO, is that confirmed for EU membership? They won’t allow Ukraine in whist there is a single Russian soldier on their territory.
Fair point and long may they struggle.I am no military expert and certainly no lover of Cameron but the thinking was, and stilll is that 100,000 troops dug in with rifles OR 10,000 with satellite imagery backed up by Drones etc.
What we are seeing is a reflection of Camerons policy. The Russians have a 100,000 men but are struggling against a technology.
Pity they can't reach the Kremlin.LOL
"Well that's what we get, fellas"
That guy knows what's up.
