Russian invasion of Ukraine

scruffy haired twat taking up time to try and look like a stateman whilst saying nothing - worst PM we could have at the worst possible time

All we will get from western politicians at the moment is meaningless statements of disgust with Russia, no action. If a non nuclear state had done this the cruise missiles would be raining down on whoever’s capital city it was, unfortunately it’s Russia and they have a gun to the west’s head on any military action they take.

Let’s see if the poster I quoted, who seemingly can only harp on about Tories in this thread will tell us all who said it?

My guess is they won’t.

This thread should be about Putin, not political point scoring, we have enough of them for that but if you want to go down that line constantly then at least appreciate what your own side is saying before going on about the other in a subject like this.

Putin is to blame here, no other fucker and he is busy murdering innocents.

Pointing out what the current Government has said and done cannot be countered by what Corbyn says.

He's an utter irrelevance and is marginalised in the Labour party. He doesn't represent the left's 'own side.'

In any case isn't it funny how both the far-right and far-left seem to not be blaming Putin for any of this?

Nothing shocks or offends me. I can take seeing dead bodies or extremely wounded bodies. I’m not squeamish at all.

Don’t know why I’m like that. Whether it’s just seeing so much gory stuff on the internet over the years that you just become desensitised. I’ve seen a video of a lad who committed suicide in India after he jumped off a water storage tank about 60feet up and the video shows what state he was in afterwards, another was a video of a woman who had a freight container fall and land on her legs with someone coming over to video her… as awful as you could imagine, but I’m one of those who was trying to zoom in and see more closely.

The only thing that’s ever come close to making me look away was Two Girls One Cup.

Is this a therapy session?

It’s crazy how the far left and far right are seemingly on the side of a war criminal. Such is their hatred for the political mainstream would be my guess.

Thankfully, they are a minority and best ignored.

"The" is used loads of times to describe loads of different countries, obviously there is some background to this but all I am doing is pointing out that it's not unusual.

Didn't say it was unusual, didn't say there was anything intended by it. Just pointing out in this instance, it matters, and drawing attention to it that's all. I'm sure we all mean well.

The important thing is that we should all recognise that the Ukranians have done nothing wrong and Putin is a ****.
