Your three examples are countries that consist of multiple entities. Ukraine is a single entity that grammatically doesn't need a "The".

True, but I just don’t see it as been a particularly relevant point. Nation states are always tied to their territory and I don’t see how the occasional use of a territorial denominator makes much difference. The Russian actions are outrageous whether it’s against the Ukraine or Ukraine.

Thankfully, they are a minority and best ignored.

Minorities, and best ignored, but they are the ones who shout the loudest and are almost impossible to ignore if you spend any time online. They’re why we have such divisions in our society.

You could do a video with the toothless Spanish bloke with subtitles about Putin laughing at our two extremes doing his job for him in the West.

Nothing shocks or offends me. I can take seeing dead bodies or extremely wounded bodies. I’m not squeamish at all.

Don’t know why I’m like that. Whether it’s just seeing so much gory stuff on the internet over the years that you just become desensitised. I’ve seen a video of a lad who committed suicide in India after he jumped off a water storage tank about 60feet up and the video shows what state he was in afterwards, another was a video of a woman who had a freight container fall and land on her legs with someone coming over to video her… as awful as you could imagine, but I’m one of those who was trying to zoom in and see more closely.

The only thing that’s ever come close to making me look away was Two Girls One Cup.
