Russian invasion of Ukraine

This thread has lost any kind of reasoned debate.

If you try you're automatically branded as being a stooge of Putin by identifying facts that don't sit with the propaganda narratives.
Couldn’t agree more.

Asking questions on the Ukraine war does not make someone a Putin sympathiser, as doesn’t:

Asking questions on the Covid response make someone a Covid denier, as doesn’t:

Asking questions on Net Zero make someone a climate change denier.

But having just one narrative and blindly sticking to it, no matter what, is somewhat pointless and the largest denial possible.

This last bit is exactly the orthodoxy the government and business wish to promote as, if we’re arguing with each other, they’re off the hook and if we’re ‘looking over here’ they’re busy enacting stuff ‘over there’.

Wonder if the Ukrainians are getting any help with someone leaking Russian info hence the fast progress. Maybe someone in Russia needs putin to look a fool when crimea gets taken back

They forced Russia to reinforce Kherson and have now trapped them in, which means Ukraine can attack the now weaker parts of the frontline. Clever move, sooner Russian soldiers realise they have nothing to fight for and are nothing but cannon fodder the better.

I take it you're a Russian sympathiser?
Before the gallows are fully erected.

The exact opposite is true.

Explanation 1.
On July 4th it was reported that Luhansk province had been occupied in its entirety by the Russians.
Yesterday, the Ukrainians re-entered Luhansk.
Ipso facto, the Russians' boast that they had 100% of Luhansk province is no longer a fact.

Explanation 2.
The comment about the Russian cruise missiles refers to a story of last week(?) which reported that a Russian submarine with cruise missiles on it had sneaked into the Black Sea through the Bosphorus. I assumed that the Russians had used all of their stock of cruise missiles held in Crimea and that the missiles fired had to be from that vessel.

I am hoping to provide evidence regarding the sub story.
