Seem to remember a film Enemy at the Gates when the Russians basically ran at the Germans with very few weapons basically as the man in front died you picked up his weapon and ran until you got shot rinse and repeat if you turned round the officers shot you!

Bloody good film that. Shame history is repeating itself.

When even the Mash Report are taking the piss on how Russia are doing in this war then you know it's not going well for them. They had a sketch featuring a Russian soldier who'd been in Ukraine for just a few days. Arrived as a grunt and had already been promoted to Lieutenant and was hoping to be a Colenel by the end of the week.

CNN reporting a 12 hour wait getting across the boarder into georgia,panic on social media with people looking to get out of Russia,one guy interviewed was Russian with the other half of hs family Ukraine, its going to get worse as we approach the weekend

My wife was planning to visit friends in Kazakhstan just over the border from where she is. All bus tickets sold out and reports of 6 hours to cross the border. Will the last one to leave please switch off the lights

Yesterday the opposition wanted to make a vote in the parliament but social democrats and lefties didn't agree,
so now the decision about battle tank supply for Ukraine is passed on to the committee on Foreign Affairs without any certain time frame.

Many experts think a supply of Marder is the probable next step, Leopard is still not on the cards.

German industry offers 100 Marder BUT the first 30 being ready for delivery early 2023.
(No idea how true that is in terms of security issues)

How anybody in the free world can support Russia in it's present form is beyond me.

You are not allowed to have any form of anti-war protest or you get arrested and locked up, or even worse sent to a certain death in Ukraine.

Those with any influence at all in that benighted country are a bunch of lily livered cowards.

Prehaps China should sell arms to Ukraine if they respect borders that much...
