Nah. They voted him in. The fact he may have rigged the electoral system since is irrelevant. They knew they were voted for an ex member of the KGB.The Russians have no choice but to keep him in power.
Propaganda is a very powerful weapon, especially when key opposition leaders just.... disappear

They've been spun a line about a three day intervention and the truth of their losses have been held back... now they are beginning to see the truth which the state cannot hide as they need more people.
They never had any reason to protest or rebel up until now.
Like I said, they believe propaganda when it’s convenient.
You cannot say they’re poor little brainwashed Russians and then oh yeah now they protest because they realised the 3 days war was a lie 200 days in.
