Best thing Ukraine can do now is press home its advantage on the battlefield. The Russian propaganda machine will be in full effect over the next couple of days, but the Ukrainians have the impetus and the will where it matters, so the West just needs to make sure it gives the materiel.

Raises an interesting point though, if a consulate is in theory a pocket of that nations land, would this then count as a direct hit against Germany.

Granted it would be a strange escalation route in this case, but raises an interesting question about how Embassies are seen in terms of NATO agreements.
