I'm saying when you're publicly funded you should give a public service where necessary and the USA are backing Ukraine.

SpaceX are not publicly funded tho, They are partly funded in party by NASA and US Military,

Just because NASA and the US Military get there money originally from the public doesn't' mean the receiver of contracts from them are then publicly funded as well.

Slightly increased costs for about 3 months and then we'll have to cut CAP slightly and increase grain production slightly in the EU.

they provide a service they are being paid for.
