I totally agree but if you haven't heard various American generals (or whatever rank) and various European leaders talk about peace talks, negotiations and even for Ukraine to give up Crimea then you are reading a different media than me.
Even if, or more to the point, when Ukraine regain all their country there should still not be 'peace' until every captured Ukranian is home safe.

Spider, I totally agree, my point is until everyone is home there should be no peace deal. Death is sad but at least final, I cannot imagine being forced to spend the rest of your life in a Russian hell hole.

I heard from Taras Berezovets interview (fighter and journalist) that russia one major loss on the battlefield away from collapsing.1. Melitopol' would divide southern front and that means russia will retreat to Crimea. 2. Push from Bakhmut towards Donetsk. 3. Svatove to Luhansk.
