Im no expert,but apparently,it takes 10-15 days to prepare a missile attack.

Overnight,Ukrainian forces hit and destroyed 2 command posts, 8 areas of Russian positions, an anti-aircraft missile complex, 3 ammunition depots.

Surely the west have a missile system that we could give to Ukraine that could take out these planes?? I'm guessing one of the military guys on here would know?
