The problem is many don't see (or are blind to) the Ukraine casualty side of this. The Russians may have issues and have made many mistakes, but are still a formidable force to be fighting.

Agreed and I know he won’t stop with Ukraine the rest of Europe had taken their eye off the Russian threat, Ukraine taking the loss for all of us.
I think we scrapped the Harrier but we should support Ukraine with whatever planes they need.

Ukrainian losses are high, but losing would lead to the destruction of their country and almost certainly mass murder by Russia.
The stakes are so high for Ukraine that they can bear more than might seem acceptable to us.
