Putin's war has nothing to do with NATO.

He's an avowed fascist who claims dominion over the Slavic peoples and denies the legitimacy of the Ukrainian nation.

He's murdered people in the UK with radioactive poison and separately with chemical weapons.

He's invaded Georgia and Ukraine as well as waging brutal wars in Chechenya and Syria, the latter using chemical weapons on civilians.

He runs a kleptocratic regime putting billions in the pockets of cronies, thereby ruining the economy, and requiring a new pretext for his rule: the imperial conquest of Ukraine.

Fortunately, the corruption keeping his powerbase also rotted his armed forces, which have collapsed ignominiously to the point of requiring convicts to stay in the fight, and have disgraced themselves by raping, pillaging and murdering their way across the few lands they've managed to stay in.

Anyone who claims neutrality in the face of this barbarous assault deserves nothing but contempt.

I'm pretty sure..but may be wrong, that Putin said no more encroachment from nato- no more encroachment from Russia. This was some sort of agreement? So why the fuck NATO and Ukraine started talks....makes you wonder who is profiting from this shit show. Surely not Biden and his son's ties to Ukraine??

There was pretty much no interest from Ukraine to join NATO before Russia annexed Crimea. Support jumped from something like 15% up to about 80%.
