The Russians are losing thousands of men around Avdiivka but are slowly gaining ground. I suspect that without more Ukrainian reserve deployments around the "pincers" to cut them off, Ukraine will have to withdraw from Avdiivka.
The astonishing thing is that Russian troops will willingly go to their deaths in such numbers.

The Russian troops being sent in probably have very little knowledge of what awaits.

The UK now needs to step back up to the plate.
